Sari Saturday
Sari Saturday is back for 2024, happening on October the 5th from 9am-12pm! We look forward to this event every year and supporting such a wonderful cause that makes a difference in the lives of some of the most vulnerable people. You can drop any items you have to Connect Church during the week Monday – Thursday, 9am - 4pm. We are also happy to receive donations on a Sunday at church. Should you have clothing that you would love to give us for Sari Saturday but are unable to drop it off yourself, please email us at, office@connectchurch and we will arrange to have it collected.
Sari Saturday was started 15 years ago to raise funds for a mission team from Connect Church to go to India. It started as a one day second hand shop sale of just women’s clothing, held in our small auditorium. Since then, Sari has grown so much we now not only use the small auditorium, but our main auditorium too, filling it to capacity every year as a result of your generosity! All the proceeds made from Sari Saturday go to a children’s home in India. Last year we raised $17,000. Money raised went to feeding 100+ children for a whole year and contributed to upgrading staff housing! Your generosity has truly made an impact on those who deeply need it.
